In January of this year, I wrote my first blog article for PropTech Future.  I honestly assumed that nobody would read it and that my entry into the world of blogging would be short-lived.  However, I was blown away by all of the amazing support that I received and I am so appreciative of all the subscribers, interviewees, and participants that played a role in building PropTech Future into what it is today.

Over the past year, we have added thousands of subscribers made up of VCs, Real Estate Executives, PropTech/Fintech leaders, Entrepreneurs, and Thought Leaders.  We have published 38 articles, and held a Startup Pitch competition which received 73 entries from across the globe.

We have a really exciting schedule of articles that will be published in 2022 covering topics such as Immersive Entertainment Real Estate, Fintech Applications for the Multi-Family Industry, Investment Platforms for Real Estate, Lead-Gen/Marketing Tools for Real Estate Agents, and many other topics.  As always, if there are any topics that you want me to cover, or if you are interested in participating in an upcoming article, please do not hesitate to reach out to me at any time.

To close out 2021, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite interviews from the past year (each article is linked below):

  • Real Estate Royalty:  A Sit-Down with Spencer Rascoff

  • E-Commerce and the Pandemic Have Driven Record Demand for Industrial Real Estate. Technology is Playing a Critical Role in Optimizing this Sector

  • Insight from the Leaders of PropTech Investing: A discussion with Fifth Wall Partner Vik Chawla

  • Portfolio Owners Are Becoming Investors in PropTech: An Interview with DivcoWest

  • It's Not Just a Strategy, it's a Mindset: Oxford Properties 4.0

  • Taking Strategic Partnerships to the Next Level: JLL Spark

  • CBRE: How the World’s Largest Real Estate Services Firm is Leveraging Technology to Better Serve their Clients

  • The Change Agent: Commercial Brokerages Have Been Adverse to Change... One Company is Looking to Shake Things Up.

Additionally, I want to share the best performing article of the year:

  • The Residential Appraisal Process: There Needs to be a Better Way.

Lastly, one of areas that I enjoy the most is highlighting new companies that have really interesting and disruptive solutions and business models. Below are few examples:

  • The Next Big Thing: Which PropTech Companies are Well Positioned to Make it Big?

  • PropTech Future Startup Pitch Competition: A Winner has been Crowned.

  • Meet the Winner of NAR's iOi Pitch Battle

Again, I want to thank everyone for all of their support, and I am looking forward to growing PropTech Future in 2022.  Have a very happy and safe New Year!!!

Glenn
