I’m not sure you’ve highlighted a use case that’s applicable to your of industry’s interoperability concerns and requirements. Property owners generally don’t provide the apps you’re talking about. At best it would be an operator and normally these are tenant apps.

Additionally, efficiency in build is about the service provider ecosystem. That problem is solved by CaPSCi

Could not agree with you more. The interoperability is not only between apps but between base building technologies. Many of the tenant and building related apps rely on third party API integration and therefore have no control over development cycles and software changes. This can wreak havoc to building and tenant operations if these are changed and the apps are not prepared or have built an inflexible infrastructure.

To toot our own horn here a bit but we built Honeycomb to manage all of these scenarios. The platform can be deployed either as a building or tenant app and we have built and vertically integrated all core functionality. That is not to say that we do not integrate with other technologies it just means that we can control our own destiny.

Thanks for the article.

It's been a tremendous reality check for many. Things are returning to normal, especially after the period of growth we just experienced.

To me, the companies that survive this and emerge from this will be companies to watch going forward.
